Raising awareness around gambling addiction has become a passion for Bobbie as she continues her daily journey away from a bet while striving to be a better human.
3-21 No Kiddin' is now a podcast, a store front in Naugatuck CT, an online store and a PERSONAL MISSION for Bobbie. She continues to work towards helping adults live their best lives and recover from whatever has impacted them on this journey.
You will gain education about gambling disorder, various addictions and be exposed to different methods for recovery, abstinence and a better way of living for both the addict and loved ones, through Bobbie's experience and the expertise of her guests.
This is not a one size fits all process so exploration of tools for optimal mental, emotional and physical health will be discussed. The show is combination of interviews with both addicts and authorities on health and wellness. Addiction is a growing problem and awareness is paramount. Today, I’m going to fearlessly share my entire journey with you…
Once upon a time, I embarked on a remarkable journey, a journey that shaped me into the person I am today.
It all started when I faced my greatest challenge, ADDICTION. Through the years, I knew it was destroying me. I knew I had to summon my courage and confront it head-on.
Throughout my journey, I encountered numerous obstacles and setbacks, like stealing money from ex husband, getting in trouble at work for being too drunk at events, and dealing with many deaths and losses through the years.
Each relapse tested my fortitude and ability to overcome. There were moments when I doubted my abilities, but I refused to let fear hold me back.
With every urge conquered, I discovered newfound strength within me.
In rehab, I learned to embrace vulnerability, step outside my comfort zone, and harness my inner power.
Along the way, I met extraordinary mentors, allies, and guides who provided guidance and support when I needed it most.
Through my journey, I transformed from drunken gambaholic to Bobbie the Awesome, changing my ADDICTUDE to GRATITUDE!
It was a profound metamorphosis that unleashed my true potential and awakened my purpose, 3-21 NO KIDDIN- RECOVERY PLAYGROUNDS.
Now, I stand here, fearlessly sharing my journey, because I want you to see that the bleakest times can turn into the precursors to the brightest times in your life.
